Our farmers and food artisans have lots to offer those celebrating Dad this weekend, and everyone celebrating our newest federal national holiday Juneteenth too! Great weekday weather has ensured our farms will have a super harvest and the same sunny forecast is in place for Saturday too, so swing by to shop and enjoy some great events. Have Dad hang out with the kids in the Market Sprouts area where we'll be running a crayon mural project (9:30-11:00). The Bumper Crop Boys will provide a terrific performance for the Music Series (10:30-12:30). And Pleasantville's Root 2 Rise NY will be in with a chef's demo to show us how to create an incredible risotto and beet salad. Add a warm Knot of This World pretzel, cold Teagevity iced tea, then a Puras Paletas ice pop, and Dad is going to have problems leaving when it's time to go... Before heading out collect Market items such as fresh strawberries, award-winning Whitecliff wine or Spirits Lab distilled items, great meats, crisp greens and more. Then head home for a delicious Father's Day & Juneteenth weekend of special meals!
